FC2A Operational Workshop
February 16th, 2021 (10h00 – 13h00 CET)
Virtual event
The project is part of KTN-Engage initiative1. It addresses a challenging approach for an environmentally friendly and more agile air traffic management framework by combining Flight Centric Air Traffic Control and Airstream concepts. The day-to-day adaptation of the Airstream network to the demand of the airspace users will provide a resilient and scalable system which supports Dynamic Airspace Configuration. Driven by the digitalization of air traffic management, autonomous management of aircraft inside the Airstream is promoted.
Two workshops are scheduled. The first one mostly dedicated to operational view of the Airstream concept within airspace structure and flow management. The second one focusing on technological aspects linked to the management of the traffic inside the Airstream structure and what could be the adaptation/new development in avionic equipment will be needed (save the date: April 15th, 2021 10h00 – 13h00 CET).
The workshops will take place as virtual events on a half day.
Goal: Present current results, collect feedbacks & advices from the community.
